Counselling can be short-term, focused on a particular issue, or open-ended. I have experience working in both ways, and we can think together about what might suit you best.
Sessions last 50 minutes and take place at the same time each week. On Wednesday I see clients in Abbeyhill at Dialogue & Space and on Thursday I see clients in Morningside. I offer a free 30 minute introductory call for you to ask any questions and so we can start to get to know one another.
It’s also important to say what counselling isn’t. I won’t give advice or tell you what to do. Rather we can explore together the challenges you are facing and how you might navigate these.
While we’ll work collaboratively, you set the direction and bring what matters to you. I know this way of working can feel unfamiliar at first — it’s not often we’re invited to speak freely, without judgment or interruption. But many clients find it deeply valuable to have space that’s entirely their own.

Sessions cost £60 for 50 minutes.
I offer a sliding scale for people who are students, refugees, unemployed, low waged or on parental leave.
If the cost of therapy feels too much please get in touch and we can discuss a discounted rate.

I see clients in two different locations. On a Wednesday, I practice in Abbeyhill at Dialogue & Space, located just off Easter Road. On a Thursday I see clients in Morningside. Both locations are well served by a range of buses. Please note that Dialogue and Space is located up a single flight of stairs.

Ideally, counselling should take place weekly at the same time and location. While I am open to exploring other working patterns, I always advise initially meeting weekly for 4 -6 sessions so that we can establish our relationship. I have a select number of fortnightly appointments available.

Yes! However, I have found that this works best with babies that are pre-crawling. If your baby is crawling please get in touch and we can discuss further.
